Kylie Jenner Posts Instagram Bikini Photos To 196 Million Followers With Link Encouraging People To Vote
Kylie Jenner posted two pictures of herself in a Dior bikini on social media Monday, asking her millions of followers if they are registered to vote. Her Instagram account actually reaches more people in 2020 than the amount of people who voted in the 2016 presidential election.
Jenner posted the photos of her posing on a poolside lounge, and her 196.7 million followers could see this message:
"but are you registered to vote? Click the link in my bio.. Let's make a plan to vote together."

Within six hours of her post, she had just under 6 million likes.
The United States hit an all-time milestone in 2016 when there were more than 200 million registered voters. There were about 136 million who voted in the 2016 election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. There's expected to be a record number of voters before the 2020 election between Trump and Joe Biden.

Jenner, 23, is trying to do her part by getting people to register to vote, simply by clicking her bio link on Instagram, which leads followers to Vote.Org. That is, if they were not already registered to vote.
While clicking to the Vote.Org link, it gives people the opportunity to vote. But for those who click on the Instagram Stories link, it gives other important information to voters, like when to register, how to vote by mail or in-person, and it gives deadlines only for California voters.
Among the stories, Jenner wrote some quick notes to her followers.
"We must all make our voices heard this November," Jenner wrote in one of them. "Now more than ever we need change. We have the power to make a difference."
She went on to write, "But we need to VOTE. Just a few minutes out of our lives, to register, fill out the ballot, to drop it mailbox...That's all it takes. VOTE."
Jenner is known for her role in Keeping Up With the Kardashians ever since she was 10. She founded Kylie Cosmetics, and is now one of the richest young celebrities in the world, worth about $900 million, according to Forbes magazine. She was once listed as a billionaire during the magazine's 2019 rankings, but she sold 51 percent of her company last year, putting more than half a billion in the bank.
As for Forbes, she is still listed as No. 1 on their list of celebrities in 2020.
